Hi, I’m Meg – a Geelong local with a passion for secondhand items! I’m sure I’m not the only one who is guilty OF purchasing clothes that sit in my wardrobe never to be worn, or worn once for an event, or they no longer fit – and just sit in my wardrobe collecting dust.

There are plenty of ways to sell things online, but let’s face it, the hassle of dealing with endless messages and arranging pick-ups can be a lot. That’s where SECONDed comes in. My goal is to make it easier for people to declutter, recycle, and pass along the items they no longer need, or purchase new to them items at an affordable price - all while keeping it simple and stress-free.

A few years ago, I took off on a 5-month backpacking adventure and spent a lot of time exploring secondhand shops in the UK. Some people might think that sounds boring, but I was in heaven! I discovered so many treasures – including my favourite dress which i still wear. I’ve always been drawn to the thrill of finding something special in a secondhand store, and that little endorphin rush still gets me every time.   

whilst on my travels i started daydreaming about creating and running an online preloved store. its taken me 2+ years to bring it to life, but here we are. better late than never, right?
